High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh invites Online Applications for the post of Clerk for filling up 31 Vacancies in the Subordinate Courts of U.T. Chandigarh. Eligible Persons Apply Online - Registration Step-I end on 12th April 2014 and Registration Step-II end on 14th April 2014.

Age Limit: Minimum Age - 18 Years; General - 30 Years, SC - 35 Years, OBC - 33 Years, In Service Employees - 45 Years. (as on 01/01/2014)

Educational Qualifications: A Degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university. He should have passed matriculation with Hindi/Punjabi as one of the subject and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets).

Selection Process: Written Examination (Qualifying Marks - 33 % in each subject but no candidate shall be considered to have qualified the written examination unless he/she obtains 40% marks in the aggregate of both subjects.)

Examination Fee: Rs.500/- for General Category; Rs.125/- for SC/OBC Category. The applicants have to deposit the requisite fee by way of 'Cash Deposit Receipt', printed after completion of Step-I of registration, in any Branch of State Bank of India only.
